Kuramathi fully supports ‘tag and release’ policies in Big Game Fishing. We are also one of very few resorts which do not offer Night Fishing as an excursion. We take pride in our decision and our part to protect our pristine surroundings.
Evening Entertainment
Regular evening entertainment is available including nights of Karaoke, moonlit DJs and discos. If you prefer something mellow, spend an evening listening to the tunes of our unplugged duo, or watch a favourite movie under the stars.
The schedule for the week ahead is posted at the reception/guest lounges and at the bars.
Kids Club – Concept
When dreams become a reality, the pirate flag of Bageecha is up! You can then feel the magic in the air. We now know that Bageecha is nor far anymore… Bageecha is a shipwreck, stranded in the deserted island of Kuramathi many years ago. The palms and bushes have grown around the wreck and this is now the home to the young pirates of the isle.
Whilst the older pirates are hunting treasure, the younger pirates are in a fantasy world, taking a grand and adventurous journey!
At our Bageecha Kids Club for young pirates, you will be welcomed by Captain Nadine and her peculiar crew of pirates. You too can become a member of this crew, but first, you have to leave an eternal print on the infamous wall of fame. Then, and only then can you start your adventure!
Our pirate crew is always on the hunt for the mysterious treasure left behind by the notorious Captain Fatbeard. The first clue is that the treasure was left behind somewhere on the island of Kuramathi. But with the help of the old treasure map, the adventure can begin! We will venture in the depths of the sea and comb out the dense jungle, where tough challenges await us. But beware, do not let your attention slip, since we are not the only ones trying to solve the riddles of the mysterious treasure, arg!!!
